AVODAH (Practices)
In Hebrew, the word Avodah refers to the practices that form us in spirit, mind, and body as we belong to a sacred community. At Bet Alef, our Avodah are grounded and integrated with learning, mindfulness and meditation, and a decidedly Jewish tradition at its roots.
We “practice” our Judaism through our Educational and Learning opportunities – from L’Dor VaDor to Bet Alef Learning Institute.
We “practice” our Judaism through our Annual Meditation Retreat.
We “practice” our Judaism through our community events and gatherings.
We “practice” our Judaism through our Annual Celebrations of the holidays in our Jewish Calendar.
In this Avodah – this “practice” – we become more human, and more connected.
